A God centered gathering weaves all three “P.R.O.” components in a multi-sensory, interactive program each week.
Hang out time in “The Core living room” provides time for casual conversation and friendship building through fun activities and food.
Large Group discussions on God’s Word provide the foundation for godly principles of long term living in Christ.
Small Group discussions provide opportunity to develop those godly principles into practical applications and deepen friendships with real-life sharing between teens.
Student led music provides opportunity to worship a real, present God as young people open themselves to His love and love Him in return.
Creative Prayer times in “The Core prayer corner” encourage conversation and communion with God personally and as a group. Journaling, visual illustrations, directed silence, need sharing, crack the “religious cliché’ barrier” that often makes prayer time a non-event for young people.
All of these contain atmosphere, technology and creativity to inspire interest and participation.
Recently we have been doing five-day journals (on a sign up basis) to take what we have been discussing in The Core Youth Worship Gathering and live it out during the week.
Special events such as conventions, concerts, fun outings and hang out times provide opportunities to relationship build and live our their faith.
