Women's Ministry at Cornerstone is committed to meeting the needs of every woman in the church. For 2010, we are focusing on Psalm 42:2 and what it means to "thirst for the living God". For more information see Connie Ackland, Director of Women's Ministries.

We live in a world that too often believes in luck, randomness and chance, every day people head out the door with no idea why they're alive on this earth or how to live through the day ahead of them with purpose and meaning. In sharp contrast to this vague groping for significance in a world of randomness, God makes it plain that we can live an intentional life...one with profound meaning, clear direction, and eternal value.

Our Goals

To provide an atmosphere where all women can feel welcomed, accepted, and loved. Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:12-14, 1 Peter 3:8

To encourage and assist women who are hurting and in need of help. Isaiah 61:1, 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4

To provide ministry and service opportunities. 1 Peter 4:10

To encourage spiritual and personal growth through varied ministries. Colossians 1:28, 2 Timothy 2:15

Our Events

April 24 - Women's Luncheon with Luann Dunnuck

Luann is a speaker and author of several books; The Timeless Treasure, a Commentary on the Song of Solomon, Chocolate, Peanut Butter & Life, and An Encouraging Word. She has also been featured on several TV shows and radio. She lives with her husband and children in Connecticut. To learn more about Luann and her ministry click here.

What We Offer

Women's LIGHT Meetings

A time where women can gather and enjoy fellowship, encouragement, and group prayer.

Special Events

SNED Women's Retreats and sectional women's events.

Opportunity

A chance to serve inside and outside of the church: hosting wedding and baby showers, special meals, bereavement dinners, shut-in ministry, special projects, etc.
