Kid's Corner
A fun environment for kids between kindergarten and 6th grade. Come and check out our room! It was designed with kids in mind!
We use a children's church curriculum that is fun and engages all the different age levels in several ways to reinforce the lesson. We have worship, puppets, games, object lessons and we go on a fun adventure every Sunday morning discovering different truths from God's Word.
The “Kids Corner” goals for the children by the time they leave Kids Corner in 6th grade are:
- To know God's love for them in a real, life changing way
- To learn how to reach out to their friends and family to share Christ's love with them
- To develop a heart for missions in them through giving to BGMC and learning about missionaries in other countries
- To learn the basic truths of the Bible and Christianity that will set a foundation for them in their teen years and into adulthood
- To raise up another generation of young leaders on fire for Christ and ready to move on into youth group when they graduate 6th grade
“Kid's Corner” is a safe and fun environment that kids will love to learn in.
Our safety system includes:
- A check in/out system
- The child will not be allowed to leave with anyone but the parent or guardian over 18 years of age.
- Once the child is checked in, they have a room with different activities to engage their attention until Kid's Corner starts
- All children’s workers go through a required background check in order to work with the kids.
